The materials of lithium-ion battery packs mainly include the following aspects:
Positive electrode materials: lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2), lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide (LiNiCoMnO2, referred to as NCM), ternary materials (LiNiCoAlO2, referred to as NCA) and lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4).
Anode materials: In addition to graphite, there are some new anode materials in development and application, such as silicon-based materials and graphene.
Electrolyte: Organic solvents, such as carbonates and ethers, and lithium salts (such as LiPF6) are dissolved in the electrolyte to provide ionic conductivity.
Separator film: Polymer film such as polypropylene film and polyimide film.
Housing and packaging materials: usually metal materials, such as aluminum alloy and steel plate.
