Mianyang Cham Passed the Quality Management System Certification (ISO 9001:2015)

Recently, Mianyang Cham has acquired the ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification from the globally recognized certification body, SGS. The certification covers the design and manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries for power and energy storage applications.

The fundamental principles of the ISO 9001:2015 system are aimed at enhancing business operational efficiency, minimizing superfluous resource expenditure, and attaining customer satisfaction via ongoing improvement strategies.

The successful certification of the company to the ISO 9001 system signifies that Mianyang Cham has now achieved internationally recognized advanced quality management capabilities, thereby establishing a robust foundation for the company's future development.

In August 2024, Mianyang Cham Smart Factory successfully transitioned into the trial production phase, signifying a significant milestone in the company's pursuit of manufacturing world-class cylindrical batteries. In the process of advancing the construction of the new base, Mianyang Cham actively enhances various critical aspects, including quality management, quality assurance, and quality improvement, to ensure the highest standards of product quality. Meanwhile, Mianyang Cham has collaborated with SGS to establish a zero-carbon factory. This partnership has achieved 100% recovery of wastewater, energy, and waste materials, thereby reducing operational costs by over 10% for comparable facilities. This initiative exemplifies Mianyang Cham's steadfast dedication and exemplary practices in sustainable development.

In addition, Mianyang Cham is diligently preparing for the ISO 14064 greenhouse gas emissions verification, the PAS 2060 zero-carbon factory certification, and the IATF 16949 automotive industry quality management system certification.
